West Sussex, English Coast
West Sussex is located on the coast of southern England with the East Sussex coast to the East, and Hampshire coast to the West. The county of Sussex has been divided into East Sussex and West Sussex since the 12th century. It's population is over 750,000. There are many coastal Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, as well as the Sussex Downs and the High Weald.
The coastline offers safe sandy beaches in towns such as Littlehampton and Bognor Regis (the sunniest place in Great Britain according to the statistics). There is Windsurfing and other water sports. The fishing community is thriving.
Towns to visit include Arundel and Worthing which is the largest town in West Sussex. Worthing is situated between on the coast and facing the South Downs.
