The secret gardens of Sandwich, newly restored after 25 years. Classical style gardens originally designed by Edwin Lutyens and Gertrude Jekyll.

Sandwich

Sandwich is an historic town in East Kent. Formerly one of the Cinque Ports and one of the most important coastal port towns in England. However, the port silted up around the 15th Century and the town of Sandwich is now around two miles from the sea.

Kent

Kent is known as the 'Garden of England', but also boasts many miles of coastline stretching round from the Thames estuary to East Sussex. The coast line includes the white cliffs of Dover.
