Saint Michael's Mount
Dominating Mounts Bay and Marazion is St Michael’s Mount topped with an impressive castle with tower, chapel, battlements and cannons guarding the seaward approaches. St Michaels Mount is situated just offshore from Marazion and can be reached on foot at low tide by a paved pathway. When the tide comes in there are small ferry boats operating from Marazion harbour.
Marazion
Marazion is an ancient market town near Penzance. It is a popular destination for beach holidays and water sports, and is of course home to St Michael's Mount.
